Hopkington Polyarts Fair
This is the 50th anniversary of this Fair ! Polyarts began in 1974 as a demonstration of various arts and crafts to showcase the talents of the local community. Since then it has grown into a day long event with many professional craftspeople, performing artists and community groups participating throughout the day. Polyarts is free to attend and is a family-friendly day with something for everyone, be it food, music, crafts or other entertainment. Check out more info HERE

Botanical Gel Printing
Gel printing is a fun and versatile way to create unique art. Discover (or practice!) using a gel printing plate, paint, brayers, interesting papers and stencil/imprint objects. You can produce wonderful works of art to use in collage, journals, greeting cards, scrapbooks, or framed art! You can even print on fabric! At this event we’ll use plants to print! Kinusaiga- Beginners- Charlton Arts .
Hang out with Jenny and Robin from Happy Arts Events as we teach the art of Kinusaiga for beginners. All materials included! $45
Kinusaiga (絹彩画) is a traditional Japanese art often called no-sew quilting or silk painting. The process is done by using various types of fabrics like sari silk, batik,and cotton to create a three dimensional stained glass or mosaic effect using a tucking process. Eco-Friendly: It’s a perfect up-cycling project that gives new life to leftover fabric. There are no needles or glue used to produce these beautiful pieces of art!

Treasure Journals Beaman Library West Boylston
Join Jenny and Robin from Happy Arts Events and create a Treasure Journal. Comb through curated papers and ephemera to design a special, single, signature, sewn journal. Kinusaiga is a traditional Japanese fabric art form created by pressing fabric into pre-cut slits in a backing material, such as wood or foam.
